The performance of centrifugal fan is very important, because it will affect the use and life of the fan, so we need to test its performance before using the centrifugal fan, so as to better understand the correct and rational use, so as to promote the full play of the performance of the centrifugal fan.


After the beginning of the measurement, the manufacturer should first master some methods and matters needing attention about the performance test of centrifugal fan. On the one hand, they should be familiar with and master how to use the fan performance measurement device correctly; secondly, they should master the specific methods and operation steps of the experiment; on the other hand, they should determine the performance of the fan, and then convert the results into characteristic curves and conversion parameters.


When testing the performance of centrifugal fan, first connect the pressure gauge with the pressure measuring hole of the test air pipe through the connecting pipe, but pay attention to check whether there is air leakage in the pressure measuring pipe before connecting, if there is one, it can not be used. Then weights are added to the moment measuring arm to keep the arm level.


Then install the centrifugal fan to be measured, and unload its impeller before starting the motor; at this time, if the arm is not in a horizontal state, then add weight until the level. At the same time, staff are required to record the no-load moment of centrifugal fan.


Then, the impeller of the centrifugal fan is installed, and the air inlet and the test air duct are connected. The coupling is rotated to check whether there is scratch and friction between the impeller and the air inlet. Normally, starting the motor, after 10 minutes of operation, the force arm is required to maintain the level, and when the fan is stable, the required parameters are recorded.


In addition, the working condition of centrifugal fan should be changed by reducing the flow rate, and then the parameters of the working condition should be recorded. Generally, ten measuring conditions should be taken. Don't forget to record the atmospheric pressure and temperature before and after the experiment for comparison.
