Mechanical seal, also known as end seal, is a device for preventing fluid leakage, which consists of at least one pair of end faces perpendicular to the rotating axis, under the action of fluid pressure and elasticity (or magnetic force) of the compensating mechanism, as well as the cooperation of auxiliary seals to keep the sticking and merging relative sliding.
Packing seal (up to 80% of centrifugal fan without leakage): Packing seal is also known as Gland Packings seal, commonly known as Packings. When the filler is loaded into the filling chamber, it is compressed axially by the pressure cap screw. When the shaft and the filler move relatively, the filler's plasticity makes it produce radial force and contact closely with the shaft. It is mainly used for dynamic sealing of moving parts of process machines and equipment in mechanical industry.
